Thanks to my friend Mike Ash for showing me this great blog site.
My intention is to share my motorcycle trip pictures and travel log with my friends and family.
I hope you enjoy it.
My father always said the family motto is “Life is a journey not a destination.”
Ok back to packing, tomorrow night after lost I am going to start out the ride.
My first challenge is to get the Saddle Sore 1000 certification from the Iron Butt association.
What is that you ask? Just ride 1000 miles within 24 hours with a witness at the start and finish and all gas receipts along the route.
The next level is the Bun Burner 1500 for completing that many miles in 36 hours.
For my SS1000 I am starting in Florida at my home on Fort Myers Beach and heading 1087 miles to my Mothers house on Terrace Lake in Indiana. The bike is set up well and ready, I am up for it, and all I have to do is ride it.
Where does one get the burning desire to do something like this?
Hello world!

OK, Bet my knees will be as sore as your But.
God Speed, You and your Angel are in my prayers for safe fun journey. You should arrive
at the CONFLUENCE OF THE DRIFTWOD RIVER AND WHITE RIVER before the rain starts. (WHERE THE WORLD BEGINS)
Love you SOOOOOOOOO much. Be careful.
